Desert Mirage

If you'd like to take your boat to a small lake in the desert -- this isn't the place. There is no water out there.
It's just a desert mirage, an optical phenomenon created by the bending (refraction) of light rays in a way that
produces an image of far or near objects. Unlike an optical illusion, an optical phenomenon can be captured by
a camera. (The moon being larger at the horizon is an optical illusion, and the camera doesn't fall for it like our minds do.)
